Salary : 20.00 - 25.00 DOE

The Wall Systems Laborer is responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products used in construction, manufacturing, and HVAC systems.

Essential Job Functions

  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
  • Measure, mark, and cut sheet metal using specialized tools and machinery.
  • Operate equipment such as shears, drills, and presses to shape and bend metal.
  • Fasten metal components using welding, bolting, soldering, or riveting.
  • Install sheet metal structures in buildings, HVAC systems, and other applications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while handling tools and heavy materials.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality control.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on existing sheet metal installations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other tradespeople.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; technical training or apprenticeship in sheet metal work is preferred.
  • Certification in HVAC or Sheet Metal Work preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork installation, metal fabrication, and industry tools / equipment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and construction site safety practices.
