Senior Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Milford, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting business objectives. Responsibilities :
- Oversee and perform month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are properly reconciled.
- Prepare and verify journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Handle bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Utilize SAP software to streamline and enhance accounting processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review.
- Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.Proficiency in month-end closing processes and general ledger management.Strong expertise in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.Experience with bank reconciliation processes.Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
