Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Pay Rate : $60.00 - $70.00 / hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to support and optimize testing efforts for a loan product. This application, built on .NET and SQL, integrates with 10 other systems and requires a strategic thinker who can streamline testing cycles, improve automation, and ensure seamless environment transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute test automation for the loan product using Playwright and JMeter
• Collaborate closely with DBAs , business stakeholders , and application teams to understand downstream impacts of changes
• Write and maintain robust test cases and automation scripts
• Reduce the current 2-month testing / patch cycle by identifying and implementing efficiencies
• Ensure test automation is environment-agnostic and supports smooth transitions across staging, QA, and production
• Monitor and manage the impact of changes across 10 integrated applications
• Utilize AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance automation development
