Job Title : Occupational Therapist
Location : Darien, CT
Occupational Therapist Requirements :
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in Connecticut
- Ability to conduct occupational therapy evaluation, assessment and evidence-based OT interventions for children, adolescents, and adults, including sensory integration, fine / gross motor development, and ADL training
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Ability to commute to both Darien and Wilton locations

Full-Time : 40 hours / week (22-25 client-facing; 12-15 administrative / note-taking)Schedule : Tuesday-Saturday with evening / after school availability (Saturday availability is a requirement)Occupational Therapist Responsibilities :
Develop a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalitiesProvide direct occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, and / or adults (target of 25 client hours per week)Dedicate 15 hours per week to administrative duties, including documentation, treatment planning, progress notes, and communication with families, multidisciplinary team members, schools, and outside providers as neededParticipate in weekly supervision, staff meetings, grand rounds and case consultationsSet up the gym for evaluations / sessions and maintain a clean gym environment after each therapy session / dayPerform other clinical and administrative duties as requiredABOUT SASCO RIVER CENTER :

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for this position. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
