We currently have an open position for a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator, and are seeking qualified and experienced individuals, enthusiastic to join our talented team.

The position is based out of Calabasas, California, manufacturing facility is located.

Compensation / Pay Range : $28.00 - $31.00 (Candidates must match all criteria to be considered for the high end of the compensation pay range.)

Responsibilities : Operate CNC Swiss lathe machines and automatic bar-feeders following operational procedures and guidelines to manufacture. This position will primarily require the machine operator to perform visual inspections on parts as the machine runs. Perform consistent visual inspections on product and equipment and ensure there are no finish issues.

Perform routine operation of assigned machine(s).
Keep machine running throughout shift while monitoring product quality through regular inspection intervals.
Perform consistent visuals underneath the microscope and continuously inspect machines on various equipment.
Troubleshoot and correct minor problems, obtaining assistance from Lead CNC Machine Operator and Management when needed.
Ensure all documentation is in order (part number, revision, etc.) and is kept at the workstation. Enter data on production documents regarding quantity produced, etc.
Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e., safety glasses, non-slip shoes, etc.).
Perform general housekeeping in work areas (cleaning surfaces and machines, oil spills, etc.).

Qualifications : Required :

High School Diploma or GED required. College-level machining classes and formal CNC training preferred.

Minimum three (3) years’ related experience.

Must have the ability to identify visual imperfections on parts.

Must have high attention to detail.

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and CAD designs.

Familiarity with raw materials, cutting tool geometry, and related feeds and speeds.

Support team environment.

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time 90% of the time.

Ability to reach with hands and arms frequently.

Hand and finger dexterity to handle or feel objects frequently.

Good vision and ability to decipher depth.

Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel on occasion.

Preferred :

Good working experience with precision inspection equipment and methods (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, Keyence, Seebrez, etc.).
