Self-ScheduledShift : 3rd Shift (7pm-7 : 30am)FTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts)Schedule : 2 Mondays & 2 Fridays every 6 weeks, 1 weekend every 6 weeks, and 2 holidays (1 summer & 1 winter).Training includes ACLS, NIH, IV Ultrasound, and cross-training for Charge RN responsibilities.Role Overview :
As a member of our Internal Float Pool, you will enjoy a variety of experiences and the chance to expand your clinical expertise by floating between various units, including ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide exceptional, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Adapt to different unit workflows while maintaining high clinical standards.Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.Engage patients and families in the care plan and maintain therapeutic relationships.Anticipate and address significant patient changes and collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care.Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred).Flexibility : Ability to adhere to requested scheduling requirements over a 6-week period.Training & Skills :
Participate in advanced training programs, including ACLS, NIHSS, and IV Ultrasound.Receive cross-training for Charge Nurse roles to enhance leadership capabilities.What We Offer :

Licenses & Certifications :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.Educational Requirements :
Completion of an accredited Nursing program.
Functional Experience :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Skills & Abilities :
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience in patient care with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a challenging environment is key.
