What is the role about?
The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) develops, maintains and expands a long-term relationship with strategically important Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) customers. Focused on a selected portfolio of accounts, the SAM is responsible for supporting activities throughout the different phases of the project lifecycle. The SAM represents the entire range of Endress+Hauser's products, services, and solutions to the assigned customer, and must leverage Endress+Hauser's resources and capabilities globally. An integral part of the role is to support the Strategic EPC account portfolio and collaborate with other company functions and stakeholders to drive business opportunities.
Which tasks will you perform?
- Identifies accounts' capital project landscape early and drives the qualification efforts to establish a best-fit project pursuit pipeline for Endress+Hauser.
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key customer stakeholders and project teams.
- Coordinates the involvement of Endress+Hauser personnel, including Project Sales, Inside Sales, Account Management, Representatives, Services, and Management resources to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
- Meets assigned targets for sales and other strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
- Actively supports customer requests with an emphasis on responsiveness and quality.
- Proactively leads the focus of the account planning process.
- Actively documents relevant project and account information into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Supports the qualification process of potential new accounts to bring into Endress+Hauser's strategic account portfolio.
