The Paint Technician is responsible for paint repair and final preparation of vehicles prior to customer review and inspection. You will use provided tooling, equipment, and materials to ensure surface quality meets customer expectations and painted surfaces, both interior and exterior, meet GM showroom requirements. This role will also give you the opportunity to work collaboratively with the assembly team and exterior suppliers to coordinate vehicle tear down, preparation, and inspection of paint quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of paint application, paint repair, and A-surface preparation on motor vehicles. The role allows you to make most job-related decisions with minimal assistance and will help to provide suggestions and guidance to other teammates as needed.
