About the Role :

We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function for a well-established commercial and industrial painting company in Las Vegas. The business is poised for growth and prides itself on strong leadership, a collaborative culture, and providing opportunities for professional growth and impact. Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the accounting function, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee project and job costing, including WIP management and collaboration with project managers.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive business decisions.
  • Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and business growth opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or commercial / industrial painting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with project / job costing and WIP accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; familiarity with construction ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
