RATE OF PAY / SALARY : $18.50 per hour

General Purpose :

To provide clerical and administrative support to the Center for Recovery.

Description of Duties :

• Register Clients and collect all required documentation such as appropriate photo Identification Insurance card and any other required documentation provided.
• Scans registration packets along with photo identification insurance card insurance eligibility and any other required documentation.
• Perform clerical duties as required including word processing and filing.
• Print and edit / update the Daily Sign in Sheet when applicable.
• Print registration forms for the program the day before (if scheduled)
• Maintain Medical Directors schedule for clients receiving MAT (Suboxone or Vivitrol) and place on schedule to be seen at the end of the month from their last visit; communicate all information to MD.
• Print the HVCS Patient Demographic Page (for Fridays).
• Assist with Staff MileageReimbursement Form as needed.
• Assist with MAS transportation for clients (standing orders creating trips reimbursement adjustments necessary forms etc.).
• Assist staff with faxing documentation (if needed)
• Performs monthly insurance eligibility checks.
• Perform necessary steps needed to bill insurances including Medicaid and third-party insurance as directed by the CFR Practice Manager.
• Maintain accurate files of insurance and Medicaid.
• Maintain accurate cash logs and update the self-pay book.
• Obtain Prior Authorizations for commercial insurances for Substance AbuseServices.
• Fills out SFS applications for Self-pay patients and gets application approved.
• Maintain record of all SFS applications and SFS renewals.
• Prints Cumulative Reports and I-Stops for Appointments scheduled.
• Assist with scanning medical documents Correspondences and other additional forms properly into charts.
• Maintain a clean and orderly reception area.
• Collect Co-Payments and SFS payments
• Greet visitors and answer telephones.
• Post encounters subsequent cash and insurance payments for Medical Manager.
• Schedules Changes and cancels appointments as needed.
• Provides coverage for Program Assistants when needed including front desk coverage phone calls documentation collecting payments etc.
