Electronics Assembler

We are looking for an Electronics Assembler to join our team here at Peerless Instrument in East Farmingdale, NY !

As our Senior Electrical Assembler, you will have detailed work instructions to assemble and wire electronic cabinets per detailed manufacturing requirements to manufacture company's electronic cabinets. The work is semi-routine in nature, and you will be following detailed established processes and procedures.

Location : East Farmingdale, NY

Salary Information : $24.00 - $30.00 Hourly

Your Challenge :

• Assemble wire harnesses, cable and mechanical assemblies for a final configured product utilizing process and work instructions along with drawings. All work is performed per IPC Class 3 requirements.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, parts lists, operations sheets, manufacturing procedures and visual aids.
• Perform and document completed work via a product router. Ensure correct specification and function criteria are met per the manufacturing instructions prior to submitting assembly to QC inspection.
• Perform assembly functions which include cabinet preparation, mechanical assembly, harness preparation, cable installation and equipment wiring.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures including handling of materials, tools, and equipment.
