Note : The ideal candidate must possess a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or be able to obtain one within 6 months) and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in hydraulic design, with a preference for experience on NCDOT projects.

Job Description
Our client is in search of an experienced Hydraulic Infrastructure Manager to join their team in Charlotte. This role will involve overseeing hydrology and hydraulic design for major transportation infrastructure projects and ensuring adherence to NCDOT and FHWA standards.
- Lead hydrology and hydraulic design for transportation projects
- Conduct stormwater modeling, roadway drainage design, erosion control, and floodplain analysis
- Design stormwater management systems, culverts, and bridge hydraulics
- Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and client interactions
- Prepare technical reports and design documentation
- Collaborate with diverse teams, including roadway, structural, and environmental engineers
- Provide guidance and training to junior engineers
- Occasionally conduct fieldwork for site verification
Qualifications
