Job Description

Join an exciting opportunity to bring modern software to the Navy’s warfighters.

The Software Architecture and Engineering Team is responsible for building custom software with best engineering practices, and leading software development and delivery efforts for the organization. A Software Engineer has hands-on design and implementation experience developing and supporting software products. They have broad familiarity with software engineering implementation, with strong hands-on expertise in either front-end or back-end software development (both preferred). They are familiar with the Software Development Live Cycle and working with Agile Product development teams, with some experience developing and working with data.

Key Responsibilities :

• Hands-on experience with at least 2 different programming languages (i.e. Java, Node / JavaScript, C#, Python, Perl).
• Hands-on experience with at least 1 database (i.e. Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle, MariaDB / MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Hands-on experience with at least 1 User Interface Frameworks (i.e. Bootstrap, JQuery, Vue, Next) preferred.
• Understands APIs, Microservices, and / or Server-Client application interactions and design, with hands-on experience in at least one of those areas.
• Full Stack Software Developers preferred.
