Job Description

Prime Staffing is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a travel job in Springfield, Illinois.

Position Details Modality

  • EP Tech (Electrophysiology)

    • Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

    • Shift

  • Days : 4×10-hour shifts
  • Schedule : 7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM , 4 days / week
  • On-Call Requirements :

    • 1 night per week

  • 1 weekend every 4th weekend

    • Requirements Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • EP experience required , including :

    • Ablations ( mandatory )

  • Pacing
  • Device procedures

    • Certifications

  • ARRT or RCIS / RCES
  • BLS

    • Licensure

  • Illinois state license

    • OR

  • RCIS / RCES certification

    • Education

  • Applicable Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Radiology

    • OR

  • Completion of an accredited radiology technology program

    • Preferred

  • Special procedures experience

    • Job Responsibilities Imaging & Procedures

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting
  • Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and radiology equipment
  • Obtain images of designated body parts according to physician orders / specifications

    • Procedure Assistance

  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures
  • Monitor patient response throughout procedures
  • Pass instruments and catheters as needed
  • Maintain a sterile field

    • Data & Evaluation

  • Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data for physician use
