Job Title : Mechanical Project Engineer

Location : St. Louis, MO (Fully On-Site)

Salary : $75K - $100K (DOE) + Bonus Opportunity

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing environment where engineering plays a critical role in operational success. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys managing capital projects, improving equipment performance, and collaborating across departments to implement practical, cost-effective solutions. The role offers a blend of hands-on engineering work and project management, with opportunities to lead initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency across production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, specification, and implementation of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Analyze existing equipment and processes to identify and execute improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts for equipment installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Perform engineering calculations to validate new designs and modifications.
• Prepare layout and design drawings, technical documentation, and project reports.
• Develop equipment specifications and secure bids from suppliers and contractors.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise construction and installation activities.
• Support equipment startup, commissioning, and performance evaluation.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation including datasheets, schematics, and revisions.
