Title : Phlebotomist I

Location : Miami, FL 33176

Duration : 5 months / temp to hire

Shift : Monday - Friday 6 : 30am- 2 : 30pm

We handle mutilple locations in Broward County, Miami Dade County and Pinellas County

Job Description : The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing, following established procedures. The PSR I ensures a safe, professional, and trusting environment while explaining procedures and collecting specimens accurately. The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and leadership behaviors focused on process excellence.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under supervisor direction.
  • Maintain a safe, professional environment.
  • Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens confidently.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and employees.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills for all age groups.
  • Flexible with staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

    • Required Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification required in certain states (California, Nevada, Washington)

    • Work Experience :

  • Minimum 6 months required, 1+ years preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Keyboard / data entry experience required.

    • Additional Information :

  • Reliable transportation to the worksite is required (no rideshare).
  • Must be punctual and available for entire shifts
