Machine Operator - Furniture Manufacturing (Entry Level)

Join a team that's been crafting American-made furniture for over 125 years. At Stickley, we're hiring Machine Operators (Rip Line) to join our growing manufacturing team. Whether you have experience or are new to manufacturing, we will train you to succeed and grow your skills. We have an opening at our Manlius, New York facility.

General Description / Purpose :

As a Machine Operator on our Rip Line, you'll use computerized saw equipment to cut and prepare wood parts for our high-end furniture. Whether you're experienced in manufacturing or just have a mechanical mindset and a desire to learn - we'll train the right person!

What You'll Do :

• Operate a computerized RIP saw to cut wood components to size.
• Read and follow production tickets and part drawings.
• Work with hardwoods and veneers : Cherry, Mahogany, Oak, Maple, Birch, etc.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality, precision, and safety.
• Perform basic maintenance and log machine upkeep.
• Meet daily production goals in a team-focused environment .
