Lead Front Desk Position available for very well-established East Sac general dentistry family practice. This position is a long term temporary position as we are covering a maternity / disabilitty leave but high potential for a permanent position as we are growing our office. Candidates have to have prior dental experience. ( 2+ years). Requirements for an ideal candidate include :

A Full Time (32 hour, Monday-Thursday) experienced, confident front desk person who is :

Passionate about patient care, we focus on individual and personalized patient care
Possess the ability to keep pace in the typical daily bustle of a dental office environment while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism with the patients.
Understand the importance of team work in our family owned dental practice.

General job responsibilities :

Greeting incoming & outgoing patients

Answering all incoming phone calls

Scheduling appointments

Managing the doctor and help with the hygienists schedule (they also schedule themselves)

Processing patient credit card, checks and cash payments

Processing insurance payments and sending out accurate monthly statements

Ability to present Explanation of Benefits for patients who have questions

Maximizing patient flow and productivity.

Ensuring office compliance of our policies and procedures. (OSHA, HIPAA)

Requirements :

Dental office experience a minimum of 3+ years

Patient coordination experience required

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

A friendly, positive demeanor with patients and team members

Great administrative organizational skills

Some dental software experience & ability to manage patient communication software (text, emails), we will teach you about our dental software (open dental) if you have not used it before.

Demonstrate a basic knowledge of general dentistry

Salary ranges from $37,000-46,000 based on experience with paid vacation, holidays, dental coverage.
