Human Resource Assistant

Summary

The Human Resource Assistant provides key administrative support to the Human Resources Department.

Responsibilities

  • Benefit Administration
  • Full-cycle recruiting
  • Track, document and follow-up on action required to manage employee attendance program
  • Perform new hire, job change, and benefits orientations as needed while managing all paperwork
  • Train personnel on company policies / processes
  • Respond to unemployment claims, requests for information and references as needed
  • Lead and / or participate in team projects and the implementation of company events

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in HR preferred
  • Displays a high-level critical thinking and analysis
  • Demonstrated highly motivated strong leadership and teambuilding skills with self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a "hands on" mentality
  • Advanced level of proficiency in computer systems
  • Excellent communication in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive and always in a professional manner

    • Shift : M-F 7am- 4pm (some flexibility needed)

    Pay : Up to $25 / hr depending on skills and qualifications
