Advanced Practice Provider Psychiatry Care - Behavioral Health Medicine - Guilford Co Behavioral Health Center

The Advanced Practice Provider Psychiatry Care provides specialized care to patients with mental health conditions in collaboration with a psychiatrist(s). The APP assesses patients, interprets diagnostic test / results, and develops and implements treatment plans to address the patient's unique needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise and the ability to work with patients who may have complex mental health needs. Psychiatry Care includes both Inpatient and Outpatient APPs working in Psychiatry / Behavioral Health Medicine.

EDUCATION :

Required : Master Degree Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

EXPERIENCE :

Required : 1-3 YEARS AS ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER; INPATIENT AND / OR OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRIC SETTING.

Preferred : 3+ YEARS AS ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER; INPATIENT AND / OR OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRIC SETTING.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRY / LISTING :

Required :

Valid North Carolina Board of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner license.

Board Certified within one year of date of hire.
