Software Engineer II Job Purpose & Scope

Designs and develops high-quality software applications andponents using modern technologies and best practices.

Essential Job Functions

• Develops and maintains software applications with general supervision. Follows coding standards and best practices ensuring work ispleted timely and accurately. Leverages technical skills and experience toplete the work more efficiently.
• Designs features of moderateplexity given coding standards and solution architecture.
• Works in an agile environment effectively collaborating with other functions and teams. Approaches every task with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Contributes to continual improvement efforts by suggesting improvements to applications and processes.
• Continuously learns new technologies, best practices, and architecture patterns.
• Follows Bank policy, practice, and procedure.
• Produces accurate, thorough, and timely work, while meetingmitments and following policies and procedures.
• Regularly exercises discretion, judgment, and critical thinking in the performance of essential job functions.
• Works on a variety of assignments, interacts andmunicates with all levels of management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
