A leading hospital chain is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support the Gastroenterology department. The ideal candidate is able to travel to the Waxahachie location (Travel, meal, & transportation stipend provided).
Responsibilities :
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopy procedures using proper sterile techniques
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure equipment is clean, functional, and properly stocked
- Monitor and communicate patient condition changes to clinical staff
- Clean and disinfect scopes and specialty instruments according to established safety standards
- Maintain supply inventory and restock procedure rooms at the end of each shift
- Transport patients / equipment and support exam preparation as needed
