Student Program Coordinator

Job Summary

Provide case management to at-risk students requiring support to basic needs. Monitor students and develop action plans to facilitate referrals on and off campus resources. Identify collaborative opportunities to raise awareness for Temoc’s Closet as well as donation initiatives. Responsible for creating an overall marketing and social media campaign for the center as well as programs and services. Maintain program records for assessment, compliance and outcomes. Review requests for the Student Emergency Fund. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree.

One (1) or more years related work experience.

An equivalent level of education and / or experience is acceptable. Preferred Education and Experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with the Assistant Director for Basic Needs Programs in the scheduling, budgeting, planning, registration, promotion, and support of Basic Needs Resource Center events and educational programs.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Temoc’s Closet. Includes managing upkeep of the space, overseeing volunteer initiatives, and identifying collaborative opportunities to raise awareness of the resource.
• Coordinate overall marketing and social media strategy for the center. Develop and produce content for social media and other marketing channels, including videos.
• Coordinates and leads the Basic Needs local Alternative Spring Break trip.
• Monitor Student Emergency Fund requests and make recommendations for financial support.
• Maintain accurate records and data related to student participation, program outcomes, and other relevant metrics.
• Serve on departmental, divisional, or university committees or task forces as requested. Represent the Basic Needs Resource Center – Student Affairs at campus events, meetings, and committees.
• Some nights and weekends are required.

After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote / partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
