We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our East Memphis office. Ideal candidates should have over 2 years of experience managing personal injury cases (either on the plaintiff or defense side) at the direction of a supervising attorney.

Competitive Pay : $55,000 - $65,000 annual salary, depending on experience. Bonus and raise potential.

Compensation :

55,000 - $65,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Supervising the opening of new cases, including the collection of necessary documentation
  • Drafting correspondence, memoranda, discovery, pleadings, and other documents
  • Managing medical bills, liens, and insurance policies
  • Drafting correspondence, memoranda, discovery, pleadings, and other documents
  • Managing deadlines to ensure efficient case development
  • Reviewing and summarizing medical records
  • Conducting medical, jury verdict, and expert witness research
  • Providing case status updates to clients and supervising attorneys
  • Assisting with the preparation of mediation, trial, and depositions

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury
  • Personable and compassionate demeanor to work with clients
  • Extremely well organized and able to direct workflow to keep cases on track
  • Paralegal certificate and / or college degree preferred
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with case management software (Filevine preferred)
