Overview

Highlight is seeking a Customer Service Representative I (CSR) to provide support services to a federal agency. We are seeking entry level customer support specialists to work as part of an omnichannel contact center program.

Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service for borrower inquires through multiple channels (i.e. telephone, emails, web chats, or written letters)
  • Provides feedback to Customer Center Manager(s) as required to advise on call trends, processes, and training
  • Provide knowledgeable responses to telephone, email and chat inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
  • Utilize standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browser to perform job duties
  • Assist caller with providing information on their borrower account(s)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Public Trust eligibility -no delinquent student loan debt on record
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous customer experience preferred.
  • Previous student loan customer experience preferred
  • Ability to operate in a high demand, stressful environment
