We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. - Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members
- Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs
- Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs
- Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient
- Refer patients and family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary
- Conduct and interpret psychological evaluations for clients and their families
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to achieve treatment goals, reduce symptoms, and improve functioning
- Document care and consult with supervisors regarding care decisions on a regular basis Qualifications :
- Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent
- Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
- High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred
- 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Independent licensure or close to sitting for exam - LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PSYD, etc
- Must have at least a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology Compensation : $60 - $85 hourly based on billing
