Job Description

As a Solution Product Manager for Insurance Underwriting, you will shape Nearmap's product offerings that empower insurance carriers in evaluating risk and underwriting policies. This role focuses on the entire pre-loss policy lifecycle including quoting, new business underwriting, renewal underwriting and loss control use cases of Nearmap's software, imagery and data - helping underwriters and loss control staff assess properties accurately, price policies appropriately, and reduce the need for on-site inspections by leveraging remote intelligence. You will work closely with insurance stakeholders to gather insights on underwriting processes, and you will guide the development of features such as property condition analysis, automated risk scoring, or portfolio risk assessment tools using Nearmap's high-resolution imagery and AI datasets. Collaborating with engineering, content, and analytics teams, as well as aligning with marketing and industry domain experts, you will ensure that Nearmap's underwriting solutions address the evolving needs of insurance carriers and contribute to more efficient, data-driven underwriting.

Build and Prioritize the Underwriting Product Roadmap

• Own the strategic roadmap for insurance underwriting solutions with a focus on aerial imagery and geospatial data.
• Prioritize high-impact features like risk scoring dashboards, change detection alerts, and remote property surveys.
• Ensure roadmap aligns with insurer needs across underwriting workflows and risk assessments.

Partner Across Teams and with Customers

Deliver Actionable Risk Insights through AI and Analytics

Drive Adoption, Value, and Go-to-Market Execution
