PURPOSE OF THE JOB :
This role sits within the KFC US Digital & Technology team, supporting the "Saucy by KFC" initiative—KFC’s innovation-focused concept. The Program Manager is responsible for managing the planning, coordination and delivery of Integrations, hardware and restaurant applications that power Saucy. This role also serves as a liaison to the KFC US Engineering team with actual reporting into Program Management in KFC US , with a dotted-line reporting relationship into the Saucy organization , ensuring alignment with engineering, platform strategy, and product execution across KFC’s digital portfolio and alignment with BYTE by YUM.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Product Direction (%)
- Maintaining and visualizing a product roadmap for our employee-facing restaurant systems and integrations into those systems, with a focus on future-forward innovation through Saucy by KFC.
- Maintaining and visualizing a product roadmap for our customer facing systems and integrations into those systems, with a focus on future-forward innovation through Saucy by KFC.
- Planning and managing the activities to achieve the goals of setting up and maintaining restaurant technology and digital applications.
- Grooming and maintaining the backlog, prioritizing development efforts and clarifying requirements.
- Working with internal partners to advocate for enhancements and bug fixes to our solutions.
- Acting as a liaison to the KFC US Engineering team to ensure business needs are clearly translated into technical requirements, and that Saucy-aligned integration efforts are on track.
- Partnering with engineering leadership to align priorities, technical design, and roadmap execution.
- Ensuring all integration development supports Saucy platform objectives and standards and align with KFC US and BYTE by YUM initiatives.
- Collaborating with other development groups to ensure product fit within the broader solution portfolio.
Release & Project Management (%)
Building and maintaining the project plan for integration solutions within the release cycle.Coordinating with solution partners to plan releases and upgrades.Working with business stakeholders to determine appropriate release timing.Assisting with QA and validation as needed.Facilitating alignment between Saucy engineering teams, KFC US architects and internal stakeholders for joint planning and prioritization.Managing dependencies across engineering pods and external vendors.Rollout Planning (%)
Assisting hardware, OS, and MDM services teams in planning device purchases and installation timing.Collaborating with the digital platform team to ensure full alignment of upcoming projects and releases.Coordinating with internal and vendor teams to manage rollout schedules.Supporting Saucy engineering and deployment teams to validate release readiness and monitor rollout success.Education / Certifications :
