    About OCC :

    OCC is the largest equity derivatives clearing organization in the world. We provide central counterparty clearing and settlement services for equity options, futures, options on futures, and securities lending transactions. We serve approximately 115 clearing members and 15 exchanges including CBOE, Nasdaq, and NYSE.

As an intern, you will help lead projects that help shape the future of OCC. This person will apply their skill set and knowledge toward tackling designated projects. This is an exciting opportunity to have a true impact on the company by designing and implementing solutions for real challenges facing the business. Here’s what we’re looking for :

    Projects and Responsibilities :

    Provide Linux administration, operational support and problem resolution for a large highly virtualized environment.

    Use configuration management tools (Ansible and Terraform) to build and maintain a hybrid infrastructure hosted both at colocation facilities and in the public cloud.

    Perform automated computing environment builds, site setup, user training, hardware / software installation, maintenance and support and documentation of operating procedures and processes

    Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to hardware and software, takes appropriate corrective action and / or interact with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support, server recovery, and troubleshooting functions.

    Candidate Qualifications :

    Desired major(s) : Computer science or equivalent

    Background with System Administration a plus

    Will gain knowledge in Amazon Machine Image publications.

    Will gain knowledge and skills in Container technologies support and K8s support.
