Leading multi-disciplinary team islooking for a Mechanical Engineer Department Manager for their Detroit team!
Responsibilities :
- Work with Project Managers within the organization
- Create work plans / estimates for department staff assigned projects
- Ensure work meets QA / QC standards and client expectations
- Supervise projects / staff
- Meet performance metrics / goals
- Prepare proposals and administer project contracts
- Maintain backlogs / manpower forecasts for proper staffing and department utilization
- Perform annual reviews and timecards / expense report approvals for staff
- Assist Human Resources with recruiting and training
- Participate in various trade organizations
- Assist with business development
Requirements :
Salary is commensurate with experience.
