• Vista Grande Elementary - 5606 Antigua Blvd. San Diego CA 92124 (Area D)
• Work Schedule : 10 months per year 16 hours per week.

• Nipaquay Elementary - 7900 Civita Blvd. San Diego CA 92108 (Area B)
• Work Schedule : 10 months per year 35 hours per week.

• Positions 20 hours per week or greater qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.
• Vacancies thatrequirethe incumbent to be Bilingual in English / Spanish will be considered for positions that require bilingual skills will be invited to a Performance Test (Qualifying Only) for oral and written fluency. Bilingual positions qualify for a 5% bilingual differential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education and Experience :

High School diploma / GED and a passing score on the San Diego Unified School District Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam (CAPE) or an Associates degree (or higher) or 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university. Completion of post high school courses in Psychology Early Childhood Development Elementary Education Special Education or related field is desirable.
