You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing vehicles that meet our standards and market demand. Automotive Buyer Job Responsibilities

Identify and source pre-owned vehicles from various channels, including auctions, private sellers, trade-ins, and online platforms.

Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of potential purchases to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Negotiate purchase prices with sellers to secure favorable deals for Tucson Subaru.

Maintain accurate records of all transactions and vehicle details.

Stay up-to-date with market trends, vehicle values, and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.

Collaborate with the sales and service departments to ensure a seamless process for incoming inventory.

Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts to facilitate ongoing vehicle acquisitions.

Qualifications

Automotive Buyer Qualifications

Proven experience as a Car Buyer or in a similar automotive purchasing role.

Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, market values, and industry trends.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Proficiency in using automotive industry software and online platforms for sourcing vehicles.

Corporate requirements : Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
