Senior Technical Writer – CGS

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to provide consultative, analytical, and documentation support for a large federal agency initiative. Join our technology support team and contribute to government innovation.

Department : Technology Support

Responsibilities

Draft and develop technical documentation related to a variety of IT projects.

Work closely with project stakeholders to establish technical processes and procedures.

Document projects throughout the SDLC.

Provide status reports for multiple ongoing projects and related documentation efforts.

Assist with both user and admin‑level documentation.

Qualifications

Excellent writing and communication skills.

5+ years experience developing technical documentation.

3+ years experience developing user documentation.

Fluency with industry‑standard technical summary and reporting techniques, including Agile project management methodology.

Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting.

Experience with MS Office Suite, including Visio.

Willingness and ability to pass background check / security screening.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Business Intelligence / Analysis applications.

Experience with government software development policies and procedures.

Client‑facing communication experience.

Federal agency‑issued security clearance.
