Summary of Position : The Assistant Esports Coach Valorant position will oversee the IWU Valorant program by attending all practices matches and team events providing constructive feedback for improvement managing rosters and working individually with student-athletes to ensure progress and growth.

The Assistant Esports Coach Valorant will also be responsible for working with the Head Esports Coach to monitor the academic progress of the members of the Valorant team. They must also ensure that the students they oversee can grow within the Athletic Departments motto of Both / And as well as the Esports teams core values of Kindness Belonging Integrity Humility and Courage.

The Esports Assistant Coach must be committed to the Lordship of Christ continually seeking personal growth through the regular practice of spiritual disciplines and creating spiritually rich environments for others to do the same

Support the spiritual development of each player through intentional discipleship strategies maximizing the teams potential / abilities keeping athletes eligible and retaining athletes through graduation

Build a Valorant Team on the foundation of a disciple-making culture
