Strong understanding of cabling pathways conduit installations and data rack assemblies is a plus! Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with other trades. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Our client in Glenshaw PA is seeking a security tech to join the team
Duties :
Installation & Maintenance :
- Install J-hooks and pull cables per project specifications.
- Build and establish structured cabling pathways including conduit and wall sleeves.
- Construct and organize closets data racks and patch panels.
- Perform cable terminations for Cat6 fiber optic (including fusion splicing) and high-pair copper backbone cables.
- Terminate and label faceplates and patch panels ensuring clean and accurate connections.
- Conduct cable testing labeling and verification for performance and accuracy.
- Coordinate with project managers electrical HVAC and other trades to maintain project alignment and safety compliance.
