Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit where you'll care for a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients with hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients and medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , you will gain exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and innovative care.

Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to provide holistic patient care with a family focus.Confidence in handling unanticipated clinical situations.Proficient in electronic medical records and communication.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Physical Requirements :
