Construction Project Manager

Argonne is in search of a Construction Project Manager to manage a portfolio of multiple construction projects typically valued at less than $1 million with a total portfolio typically valued at no more than $6 million. Projects are focused on facility infrastructure improvements, repairs, new construction, and renovations. Interacts primarily with Argonne collaborators, design consultants, and vendors / contractors.

Position Requirements

• Skill in preparing the design specifications, estimating the cost, and managing the installation and / or construction of components and systems.
• Knowledge of project management principles and tools.
• Skill and demonstrated expertise in management and leadership techniques and in technical direction and supervision.
• Oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of internal and external contacts and to build excellent working relationships.
• Skill in negotiation and the ability to achieve designated project goals.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, practices, codes and standards, as applied to the delivery of construction projects.
• Skill in work-related use of computers.
• Ability to model Argonne's core values of impact, safety, respect, integrity, and teamwork.

The expected hiring range for this position is $106,455.00 - $166,069.80. Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs. Additionally, comprehensive benefits are part of the total rewards package.
