Senior Engineer - Fpga Design

The Senior Engineer - Fpga Design will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing custom logic solutions for advanced aerospace systems.

Roles and responsibilities include :

  • Design and develop custom logic solutions for aerospace applications, including Fpga and Asic designs.
  • Perform system-level analysis and requirements definition to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Conduct simulation, verification, and validation of custom logic designs to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to integrate custom logic into broader system architectures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in custom logic design and aerospace systems.

Required qualifications include :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university / college in electrical or computer engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experiences in design.
  • Additional information includes :

  • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. citizens. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
  • Willingness and ability to sit onsite at either the Bohemia, NY or Pompano Beach, FL GE aerospace facility.
  • Note- the posted salary range below may vary based on location and cost of living differential.

  • This position may be eligible for the following flexible work arrangements (FWA) :

  • Candidates must reside locally near either the Bohemia, NY or Pompano Beach, FL facilities for a hybrid work schedule (i.e. 3 days onsite at the facility and 2 days remote per week; schedule subject to change based on business needs).
