Care Coordination Department Manager

Location

Marin County, California

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x 8hrs day shift, Monday - Friday. 40 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Care Coordination Department Manager with a strong background in care coordination management and operations. This role requires expertise in acute inpatient case management leadership and an understanding of key perioperative standards and compliance specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of the Care Coordination Department.
  • Ensure compliance with perioperative standards and regulations.
  • Manage a team of care coordinators in a union environment.
  • Facilitate efficient patient care transitions and resource utilization.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of previous Care Coordination management / operations experience.
  • Acute inpatient case management leadership experience is required.
  • Expert knowledge of AORN, ASPAN, AAMI, Title-22, OSHA, and other key compliance specifications.
  • Experience working within a union environment.
