The Repair Center Engineer II is responsible for performing maintenance modification and / or repair of Leica Biosystems mechanical electro-mechanical electronic and refrigeration instruments.

This position reports to the Director of the Service and Repair Center and is part of the Repair Center Team located in Richmond IL and will be onsite . At Leica Biosystems our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role you will have the opportunity to :

• Perform maintenance modification and / or repair on mechanical electro-mechanical electronic and refrigeration instruments.
• Identify root cause of instrument malfunctions and determine feasibility of repair
• Disassemble replace or repair defective parts and refrigeration subsystems

The hourly range for this role is $36.00 / hour - $41.00 / hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical / dental / vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
