PHLEBOTOMIST - LABORATORY

Part-Time (20 hours and PRN (as needed) position available)

The phlebotomist serves as the primary link for laboratory and interacts with physicians, guests , family members and other hospital staff to obtain or clarify lab information. Performs a variety of venipuncture techniques involved in the collection of blood specimens from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

EDUCATION : High school graduate or equivalent with minimum experience of one year as a phlebotomist. medical assistance OR phlebotomy certification preferred. Ability to read and communicate effectively with basic computer knowledge required.
