The Gund Company has an immediate opening for an Experienced Machine Operator to join our team!

Shift : 6am - 2 : 30pm (M-F)

Starting Hourly Wage : $22+ hour based on experience

Work location : Noblesville, IN

Job Summary Experienced Machine Operator

As a Experienced Machine Operator , you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up stamping presses, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

  • Operate one or more non CNC controlled production machines to include but not limited to lathes, horizontal and vertical mills, saws, tape cutters, etc.
  • Operates machine tools such as grinders, millers, drill presses, lathes, etc., on machining operations of moderate complexity.

Key Responsibilities Experienced Machine Operator

  • Ability to set up and operate production equipment such as stamping presses.
  • Perform manual assembly and fabrication tasks using hand tools and machines, as necessary.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on production machinery as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Requirements :

  • Experience with setting up stamping / molding machines or similar equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work / training, or any similar combination of education and relatable experience to TGC’s manufacturing machinery and processes.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers).
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.

    • Preferred :

  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.

  • This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
  • The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
