We are seeking a Senior DeltaV Controls Engineer to lead automation projects in the Life Sciences and pharmaceutical industry in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role focuses on Emerson DeltaV systems, cGMP-compliant solutions, and full project lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation, and commissioning of DeltaV control systems for capital projects
- Develop batch sequencing, phase logic, and recipes following ISA-88 standards
- Design high-performance HMIs with DeltaV Live and DeltaV Operate using ISA-101 guidelines
- Integrate third-party equipment using OPC UA, Ethernet / IP, Modbus, and Foundation Fieldbus
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, FAT, and SAT
- Ensure compliance with GAMP5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Travel up to 25 percent for on-site support and commissioning
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Chemical Engineering, or related field8 to 15 years of Life Sciences automation experience with DeltaV systemsStrong knowledge of ISA-88 batch control, ISA-101 HMI design, and class-based configurationExperience with industrial networking, electrical design, and automation protocolsExcellent leadership, communication, and project management skillsPreferred
