Amergis Staffing is currently seeking a 1 : 1 School Nurse (LVN / LPN)for the 2025-2026 school year in National City, CA.

Position Details :

Pay : $30-35 / hour depending on experience

Start Date : ASAP, upon completion on onboarding

Hours Per Week : 30 hours

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Length : 2025-2026 School Year

Requirements : Must have CA LVN / LPN license and aCPR / BLS certificate; at least 1 year of nursing experience required, in-school / pediatricexperience preferred

Additional Details : This LVN will be working 1 : 1 with a student that requires catheterizations, g-tube feeding, and toileting.

The 1 : 1 School LPN / LVN is responsible for identifying andaddressing health concerns in students within the school setting. This roleincludes promoting general wellness, providing health education, and supportingdisease prevention efforts. The School LPN / LVN monitors the student's physicalcondition throughout the school day and refers to appropriate healthcareresources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the SchoolLPN / LVN scope of practice and in compliance with applicable state educationcodes.

Minimum Requirements :

Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

Current LPN / LVN license in the state which services arebeing provided

One year of school nurse experience, preferred

One-year pediatric experience, pre

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
