GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.

MA license required and FLU vaccine required prior to start. ACLS / BLS AHA required. East PACU is open Mon-Fri, 8a-11 : 30p.

Shift will be 12 hour rotating shifts : Shift times will be 8-8 : 30p, 9 : 30-10p, 11-11 : 30p and 12-12 : 30a. In a 4 week block, the RN is expected to be assigned to 5 or more later shifts 4 week blocks for each schedule. Call is 2300-0800, one night on call shift per week. If called in, it is a min of 2 hours. There are 2 night on call nurses each night, in case there are still PACU patients recovering or if there are urgent or emergent OR cases being done through the night hours. Patient ratio is 2 : 1 and ASPAN guidelines are followed. There are 2 PACUs—Shapiro PACU is for Outpatients and Feldberg PACU is for Same Day Admissions or Inpatients. Expected to recover OR, IR, GI patient receiving anesthesia. Epic EMR.
