This 365-bed hospital is part of a respected healthcare network serving northeast Indiana. The facility provides comprehensive gastroenterology services with excellent support staff including APPs and a dedicated rounding nurse along with a full GI team to ensure optimal patient care.

Opportunity :

Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details :

• Must have an active Indiana license, CSR, and DEA to be considered - REQUIRED - Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology - Position involves working at both Lutheran Hospital and Dupont Hospital - On-call responsibilities for 24 hours, seven days in a row - Responsible for consults, inpatients, and transfers - Support staff includes APPs, rounding nurse, and dedicated GI team - Preferred skills include upper and lower GI endoscopy with various procedures - Experience with ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) preferred - Proficiency in colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and other GI procedures preferred - Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and liver biopsy experience preferred - ABLS and BLS certifications required - Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-45 days - Fellowship trained physician needed
