Cota - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Elevate Therapy Center in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide pediatric therapy under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The role involves implementing treatment plans, supporting children’s motor and daily living skill development, documenting progress, and collaborating with families and staff. This part-time, flexible position offers professional growth in a modern, supportive clinic environment.

Compensation : $29 - $33 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist with conducting patient assessments and screenings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve motor skills, self-care abilities, sensory processing, and functional independence.
• Support children in developing fine motor, gross motor, and daily living skills through evidence-based interventions.
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and updates in compliance with clinic and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and records.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the therapy team through support and collaboration.
