This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

We are looking for an instrumentation engineer to lead design, development, and integration of cryogenic and non-cryogenic fluid sensors on the MK2 Crew Lander.To be successful in this role, you should have demonstrated experience independently specifying, developing, procuring, and testing fluid instrumentation in an aerospace setting.

You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the MK2 Crew Lander Fluid & Propulsion instrumentation
• Scope, design, and execute development tests
• Lead technical strategy and definition of the fluid instrumentation systems ensuring high quality technical decisions while meeting safety, cost, and schedule goals
• Define and manage procurements in coordination with the supply chain organization
• Provide instrumentation guidance to fluid engineers
