KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Oncology QA Nurse Practitioner that is fully remote for a 3-6 month contract.  Summary :  We are seeking an Oncology QA Nurse Practitioner (Oncology QA NP) to help us uniquely deploy the latest cancer knowledge to the places it's needed most. As an ideal candidate, you'll work independently and as part of a team, collaborate with subject matter experts, physicians, nurse practitioners, clinical specialists, and leadership to ensure the diagnosis, course of treatment, clinical recommendations, and clinical outcomes are appropriate and comprehensive; and other facets of care for oncology patients utilizing company services template and methodologies. Provides documents in compliance with company standard formats and documentation standards. The Oncology QA NP is a facilitator and change agent, committed to lifelong learning, professional development, and embodiment of the organizational mission and values.- Oversee the synopsis, clinical recommendations, clinical trials, and references provided by physician reviewers through quality control activities.

  • Document case outcomes (i.e., level of concordance, humanistic outcomes) in accordance with company criteria.
  • Enhance professional growth and development by reviewing current literature, attending educational programs, workshops, and in-services.
  • Collaborate with team to offer feedback and recommendations for quality improvements. While utilizing the online library.
  • Identify patterns of deviation or risk and assist in developing corrective action plans.
  • Contribute to staff training and education initiatives related to oncology QA best practices.
  • Practices a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Follows established company and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, guidelines, including adherence to the workplace Code of Conduct and Compliance Plan.
  • Enhances professional growth and development by reviewing current literature, attending educational programs, workshops, and in-services.
  • Collaborates with teammates and utilizes the on-line library.
  • Educate internal stakeholders and keep them informed on the most recent policy and process changes.
  • Embody the team vision. Minimum Education : - Master's Degree in Nursing

Minimum Experience : - 5+ years of NP experience in an outpatient medical oncology practice. - Experience working with both hematology and solid tumor malignancies. - Ability to assess, diagnose, stage, and provide treatment recommendations. Preferred Experience : - 7+ years of NP experience in an outpatient medical oncology practice. - Knowledge and experience in quality controlling clinical narrative summaries of patient diagnosis and treatment plans. - Experience with narrative writing or drafting clinical summaries.

Req. Certification / Licensure : - Current Nurse Practitioner License Pref. Certification / Licensure : - Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) Preferred Courses / Training : - Oncology, Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Biotherapy, Clinical Trial, or Bone Marrow & Hematopoietic Cell Transplant

Compensation depends on experience but is typically 52-60 / hr.
