Accountant II - Leasing Software / Tax Returns - Days

• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts accurately on a monthly basis and investigate any significant variances with completion by the end of the following month, with no reconciling outstanding variances greater than 30 days old.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements, worksheets, reports, and schedules in an accurate and timely manner at month-end.
• Prepares a monthly variance analysis for assigned financial class line item variance.
• Assists independent auditors with year-end audit. This includes preparing accurate audit schedules and answering audit related questions in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the preparation of all work papers for the filing of the annual 990 returns for Beaumont, BPN, and Auxiliary gift shop. Assist with schedules and projects requested by hospital financial management team.
• Responsible for the input, preparation, and maintenance of the leasing software system. Must process and track the monthly leases for all facilities timely and accurately.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years of related experience
